Located in the burgeoning Gaoxin District of Nanchang, China, Zifen Tower is an iconic architectural feat. The process of designing a lighting scheme that suited the uniquely shaped skyscraper was both challenging and inspiring. Working closely with SOM's team, we developed several strategies for illuminating the tower's distinctive façade. The first was a floodlighting system which utilizes the texture of the tower’s shading system to reflect the uplight.

该项目坐落于南昌蓬勃发展的高新区域，紫峰大厦是个地标性建筑。为这样一个造型独特的超高层设计照明方案非常富有挑战，同时也激动人心。在与SOM团队的紧密合作下，我们为大厦的独特立面设计了数种照明策略。第一种是泛光照明系统，利用大厦的百叶系统的肌理来反射上照光。

Another strategy we developed was a system of LEDs integrated into the shading system's joints. This minimized the impact of the lighting equipment on the façade and the site – the source is invisible. We studied several configurations of "apertures" in the shading system.

另一个照明策略是，我们设计了一个将LED嵌入百叶系统节点的照明系统。这种方案使得灯具设备对立面和场地的影响最小——因为光源是不可见的。我们研究了数个嵌入于百叶系统内部的孔径尺寸。

The result the design team achieved was astounding. Zifen Tower was completed in 2015. The iconic "Great Window" feature faces Nanchang"s Old City in the West. The tower is a striking presence in the Nanchang skyline and adds to the modern feeling that the blossoming business district is moving towards.

最后设计团队的成果可谓令人振奋。紫峰大厦于2015年完工。标志性的“大窗户”面向位于西面的南昌旧城。在南昌的天际线中，紫峰大厦可谓万众瞩目，并为正在蓬勃发展的商业开发区增添了现代感。
