Nomination period started!

TÜV SÜD celebrates the Innovation Awards for the 6th time. The awards honor colleagues who showed outstanding commitment to successful innovation in 2016.

Prices are awarded in two categories:

Best Innovation Enablers / Networkers

Nomination of a person who significantly contributed to innovation at TÜV SÜD

🔷 by enabling and supporting colleagues to follow up on ideas for new products/services/business models or to engage successfully in innovation activities and / or

🔷 by building or improving successfully internal or external Networks.

Best Innovators / Innovation Teams

🔷 Nominate an individual or a team that was instrumental in introducing a new product, a new service or a new business model to the market successfully.

This year, price money up to in total 7,000 EUR is awarded and each of the TOP 3 nominees in the two categories will be awarded.

The nomination period will go until February 24, 2017.

The winners of the Innovation Awards 2015

Category "Best Networker"

The Innovation Award goes to Theresa Tenneberg and Jonas Strahberger.

They initiated customer discussions, setup networks and partnerships with external partners and drove pilot projects for new data driven service offerings such as predictive maintenance.

In addition, they organized the 1st Digital Venture Forum with ten start-ups for potential partnering.

Francesca Luppi from PS in Italy and Aaron Oh from PS in Korea barely missed as Top Nominees in this category victory.

Category "Best Innovation Enabler"

The award in this category goes to Volker Blandow .

For pioneering new services in the field of e-Mobility, fighting against skepticism and reluctance and showing great dedication convincing colleagues of the need for Transformation.

Three colleagues made it into the Top Nominees for the category “Best Innovation Enabler”: Christoph Knöll from RI, Asli Solmaz Kaiser from PS and Volker Blandow.

Category “Best Innovator / Best Innovation Team”

The Team developed and launched successfully in a very short time of just one year a new service on an international scale for wearable devices. The service increases user acceptance for wearable devices with a blended TÜV SÜD solution. Asli Solmaz-Kaiser and her team positioned TÜV SÜD as a trustworthy and reliable partner for new digital Technologies and won new – and especially ‘digital native’ – customers such as Oculus Rift.

Due to a head-to-head race, the Jury nominated for 2015 four instead of three Top Nominees for the category “Best Innovator / Best Innovation Team”:

Sahin Levent from IS and the Team “Acoustic Emission Testing”, Simon Kellerer from CG Munich and his Team “Lift Management”, Asli Solmaz-Kaiser from PS with her Team “Wearables” and Gennaro Oliva and the Team “PO.EMA”.
