Goals: Integrate lighting into the architecture; minimize decorative fixtures and visibility of lighting equipment.
Track mounted adjustable low-voltage MR-16 accent lights are mounted within slots in the wood ceiling panels. Linear 2400K led striplights hidden in coves define the separation of floor and ceiling planes. 5000K led striplights produce and intentional gradient of light on the sandblasted glass bar die and circular column.
Lighting is controlled with a central dimming system dedicated to each suite.

The green sandblasted wall (in the background) separates the dining area from the public corridor.
A continuous low-voltage halogen wall grazing striplight illuminates the glass, providing adjustable levels of brightness and privacy via the centralized dimming system.
Linear 2400Kled striplights are concealed with translucent acrylic diffusers to illuminate the 2” gap below the gold-fabric ceiling panels.

RGB ledstriplights illuminate the white sloping ceiling. Color changes via the lighting playback controller which is integrated into the suite’s centralized dimming system.
Bus mounted low voltage MR16 accent lights with linear spreadlenses are mounted at 8” on center within the sloping cove at the semi-specular leather panel wall.
The ceiling is intentionally void of downlights. Low-level table and floor lamps provide task lighting and accents.
A 5 degree, 5000K white led striplight provides the gradient on the sandblasted glass wall panel.

This "black" suite is defined with various dark materials, most with highly specular finishes. Backlit glass planes reflect in these surfaces, expanding the perceived depth of the space. The curved, sandblasted glass wall on the right side of this entry hall is illuminated from the floor with two rows of led striplights concealed behind a polished stainless steel access panel. A wide beam, 3000K white led produces a warmer light at the bottom edge, while a narrow beam, 5000K white led providesan intentional gradient of both intensity and color.

The flat media wall (background right) is illuminated in the same manner as the curved entry wall. An additional 5000K white striplight provides a short gradient along the top of the inset TV.
The sloped white ceiling is illuminated with an RGB led striplight (pale blue in this image). Color changes via the lighting playback controller which is integrated into the suite’s centralized dimming system.
Recessed, flush trim MR16 pinhole adjustable accent lights illuminate the bar top. Track mounted adjustable low-voltage MR-16accent lights are mounted within slots in the dark wood ceiling panels on the left.
画面右后方的媒体立面墙采用和入口处曲面墙一样的照明手法。只在壁挂式电视的顶部加了一条5000K白光的线性灯带。
